Night shift High Reach forklift Operator

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry located in Moorabbin.

Our client specializes in spices, seasoning mixes, sauces, and other flavored condiments for some of the biggest food chains and brands in Australia!

This role is will involve operating both Counterbalance (crown & electric) and High reach forklifts (Crown & Joystick) working out of their distribution site located in Moorabbin.

Current availabilities are for Night Shift 9:30pm to 6:00am, Monday to Friday.

Duties:

• Load/unload containers/trucks with the counterbalance
• Responsible for picking stock for production/ Customer orders
• Use of RF Scanning technology and coordinate work in a team environment under limited supervision
• Operate hand trolleys, pallet trucks and other mobile equipment when required
• Picking up to 15kgs repetitively, occasionally lifting bags up to 25kgs
• Wrapping stations onsite
• Putaways
• Dispatch & Receiving duties in a timely manner
• Confident to operate a reach 10 metres high, 6/7 racks high
• Very tight aisle, need someone confident to be able to swing sideways without hitting any racks,
• Moving 100 pallets per day
• Temp to perm opportunities

To be Successful:

• 3+ years experience or more High risk license (forklift ticket)
• Experience using QAD, SAP, ERP systems
• Able to lift up to 25kgs and perform manual handling duties
• High attention to detail
• Career driven displaying a can-do attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Team player & Good Communication Skills
